Town Hall Demo

TOWN HALL is a first-person game set at the last working desk in a town that is closing: one municipal building rendered in full 3D, one rubber stamp, and a queue of people who need something to be officially true. The mayor can't be reached and the council hasn't met in two years. The seal on your desk still works, which makes the town clerk the government. The free demo puts you behind that desk: the people who come to the counter, the paper each of them needs made official, and the stamp that decides it.

The stampPermits, licenses, certificates of birth, death and ownership: each one is a claim until your stamp makes it a fact. Approve, and the town rearranges itself around your signature. Refuse, and the applicant goes home to the version of the town you chose for them. Salary: lateNobody is paying the building's heating either. A folded bill inside a folder is not called a bribe as long as nobody says the word. The town is small enough to remember every decision at the desk.
