There is no correct layout, only the one you can still afford. FactoryDead enemies leave debris. The Collector tower picks it up, conveyor belts carry it, splitters route it and assemblers turn it into metal, copper, hardware, biological etc. This is not a side activity. Some towers and special ammunition cannot be bought at any price: they are made, on your line, or they do not exist. Environment debris are randomly generated each run. You also need Collector tower to unblock these tiles.
