The LINE

As the captain of the space-faring vessel called "The LINE", also known as the Long Intergalactic Nameless Entity, you face a dire situation. Your vessel is on the verge of breakdown, with several critical components failing. Steering is malfunctioning, resulting in jittery controls, and the course stabilization module is the only trustworthy unit. To top it off, your vessel has moved straight into the biggest meteor storm ever witnessed in this sector of space. The situation is bleak.

Very bleak. But if the end comes, at least you will face it while giving it your best! The controls are configurable, but the default setting is:Steer left: A or Left Arrow KeySteer right: D or Right Arrow KeyStabilize ship: S or Down Arrow KeyDodge the meteors for as long as possible, by adjusting your course to the left, to the right, or by stabilizing it. Your score increases the further you travel. The storm intensifies as your score rises — more meteors appear the deeper you go.

An intensely baffling gravity field prevents your vessel from escaping the meteor storm, and if you hit a barrier of the gravity field, it will bounce you back. Use this to your advantage if you can. Sometimes, using the course stabilization unit can be critical to recover the course ahead. The steering is otherwise bad, but you will have to work with it.…
