Stone & Throne

Mine below. Siege above. Deep under the Iron Mountain, the ore waits. Above it, the fortress walls stand between your people and freedom. Stone and Throne is a rogue-lite reverse tower defense where you don't guard the towers. You bring them down, and every step of your march is paid for with what you dig out of the earth. Command the marchSet your army on a hex battlefield. Each turn you roll the dice and spend the action points on placing, repositioning and turning your units.

Put the right units side by side and they fuse into stronger formations. At the end of every turn, everyone in range strikes at once, so position and timing decide the fight. The castle raises arrow, fire, frost, poison and lightning towers and bends the weather to its side. You break the walls by choosing your facing and your ground well. Spend the ammo you hauled out of the mine to buy an extra move on a critical turn. Read how the weather hits towers and troops, then set your position to match it.
