Hack-and-Slash Roguelite Action in 20–40-Minute Dungeon RunsSpell Cage is an action roguelite that condenses the combat and buildcrafting of hack-and-slash ARPGs into 20–40-minute runs. We're developing the full game around unlocking new characters and build components across playthroughs, expanding your options in future runs. Hands-On, Isometric Hack-and-Slash CombatControl movement and attack direction independently with WASD and mouse or a gamepad. Cast skills in the direction you choose, even while moving. Managing mana consumption and regeneration is also a key part of skill use and build optimization.

Simple Foundations, Deep Skill BuildsSpell Cage distills the complex build systems of traditional hack-and-slash games into three core pillars: skills, mutators, and passives. Equip multiple copies of the same skill and raise its tier to amplify its effects, or combine different skills to create synergies. Mutators change the rules of your build, while passives help you balance stat bonuses and penalties. We're building on this foundation by expanding skill interactions and the range of possible combinations. Our goal is deep buildcrafting where even the same skill loadout can evolve into very different playstyles depending on how these three elements are combined.
