You couldn't save them. So you try to preserve them. Someone deer to you had to leave in a hurry. There was a note on the kitchen table: take care of the cucumbers, you know how important they are to me. Water my flowers when you have time. I want to smell them when I get back. Arriving on a sunny day. You plant. You water. You pickle. You keep busy. The farm needs tending. There is always something that needs tending.
Tend the FarmWork a real daily farming routine: plow plots, plant seeds, water, harvest cucumbers, collect eggs, seal pickling jars. The work is repetitive on purpose. Talk to the PicklesThe jars on your shelf are not quiet. Unable to move, the pickles have had a lot of time to think about what you do when everything around you is being destroyed and if there really is nothing you can do about it. Explore a Land Already DyingAn isolated homestead at the foot of Bohemia's sandstone cliffs but the cliffs have company.
