Each saved queen grants you a random special effect. The queens are protected by elite bosses. Defeat them to reach the next empire, but be careful - they become more dangerous as their health drops. Play on higher curse (difficulty) levels to start with a variety of rewards, including weapons, skills, and consumables. The higher the curse level, the more rewards you earn.
