Embers of Eternal Night

Embers of Eternal Night is a gothic single-player, top-down survival action game. You move, evade hordes and avoid ground warnings while your hunter attacks automatically. Defeat enemies, collect experience and turn your starting weapon into a build that can break through the encirclement. Different hunters, different ways to fightChoose a hunter with a distinct weapon and attack rhythm. Cut through enemies with an iai strike, unleash chain lightning or control a crowd with area freezing. Learn your weapon coverage and create room to attack through movement.

Choose one of three upgrades and shape your buildEach level offers three random choices. Strengthen weapons, choose modules, blessings and relics, then meet the requirements for evolutions and synergies. Extra projectiles, wider attacks and linked effects can take the same hunter in different directions. Survive the escalation. Defeat the final boss. Hordes, elites, environmental traps and bosses build pressure over roughly six minutes. The timer reaching zero does not end the fight: if the final boss is still alive, keep moving and attacking until it falls or you do.

Cross Mourning Graveyard, Sunken Bell City and Ossuary Cloister, adapting to their environmental mechanics, altars and obstacles. Return with a new goalSpend embers earned on expeditions on permanent growth. Complete hunter contracts to unlock more characters, or take on map mastery for cosmetic and record rewards.
