ArcaneSurvivors is a horde-survival roguelite where you write your own spells by joining a verb rune to a noun rune. Loose x Flame gives you a flame bolt; Orbit x Bone gives you a ring of bone. All 84 pairs of 7 verbs and 12 nouns have their own name and their own behavior, and 11 modifier runes take that to 1,008 combinations.A run takes 20 minutes. Deep in an endless library where books have grown minds and the catalogue has turned feral, the further you let your sanity go, the stronger the runes you draw.
